Owner’s Meeting at Radisson Blu Glasgow: A Day of Insight, Inspiration and Growth

The most recent Owner’s Meeting took place at the sleek and central Radisson Blu in Glasgow. This was not just another date in the diary, it was a focused, impactful dive into the core principles that drive growth in business and within ourselves. With a lively mix of speakers, collaborative discussions and practical workshops, the day revolved around one key idea: development through education.

Atlas Promotions proudly sent Ciann Baldwin, Ana Martins and Emma Reynolds to take part in the event. From the moment they arrived, it was clear that the agenda was rooted in learning, with each session designed to give practical tools and shift attitudes. With a room full of ambitious entrepreneurs and support staff, the atmosphere was sharp, positive and full of energy.

Callum Wallace opened with clarity and intent. His talk drilled into the importance of leadership built on consistency and vision. He spoke not only about the technical side of building a business, but about the daily decisions that shape culture. For Emma Reynolds, this stood out.

“Callum made me realise how routines create culture,” she said. “It’s not just about big goals, it’s about what we do day in and day out, the conversations we have, the attitude we carry, and how we carry ourselves.”

Ujla Mohammed followed with a session that balanced strong business acumen with a clear passion for mindset. Her views on resilience echoed throughout the room. She reminded us that staying focused during a challenge is what separates leaders from managers. Ana Martins shared her reflection.

“What stuck with me from Ujla was that pressure does not stop you, it shapes you. If growth is uncomfortable, you are probably doing it right.”

Brandlective brought a shift in pace with a conversation around personal branding and digital presence. It reminded everyone in the room that in a people-driven industry, how you present yourself online matters just as much as offline. From social content to consistency, their ideas were practical and thought-provoking.

Nicci Flynn built on this by zooming in on recruitment strategy. Facing tough questions around quality, retention and candidate experience, she unpacked ways to connect with people more meaningfully. For Ciann Baldwin, this session brought home the power of real conversation.

“Nicci reminded us recruitment is more than posting ads, it is about listening, asking better questions, and noticing who shows up ready,” she said. “That is something I will be bringing back immediately.”

Rounding off the speaker lineup, Mike Blain shared a window into his journey. There was raw honesty in his telling, mistakes, setbacks and key lessons. His message rang clear: progress comes to those prepared to take ownership, not shortcuts.

The experience was not boxed into a time slot. Coffee breaks turned into quick coaching chats. Reflections happened over lunch. Sometimes the smallest side conversations pack the hardest punch. For the Atlas team, it was all part of the value. What they brought back to Edinburgh went far beyond notes or photos. It was a mindset shift.

This gathering strongly reinforced Atlas Promotions’ four key values: People First, Always Growing, Purpose Driven, and Boldly Authentic. The event showed the importance of helping our people think like owners. Ana, Ciann and Emma returned fuelled by ideas, not just for what they could do as individuals, but how they can positively guide those around them.

There is no progress without people. Investing in events like this sends a clear message: we back our people to lead. We back them to build. And we back them to be bold.

As Ana summed it up: “There is something powerful about being surrounded by people who want more, not just for themselves but for others too. That is what this felt like. A reminder of what is possible.”

At Atlas Promotions, meetings like this are never simply tick boxes; they are turning points. And for our three attendees who brought insight, passion and curiosity to the day, the journey continues back home, where plans become actions and ideas drive real results.
